A MAN had part of his hand chopped off to pursue his wild dream of becoming a “black alien”.

Anthony Loffredo has also split his tongue, covered himself from head to toe with tattoos and piercings and even cut his nose. But he says he’s only achieved 34 percent of his extraordinary transformation so far.

Determined to become a “black alien” from France, the 33-year-old is no stranger to the operating table after having his upper lip removed earlier this year.

The eccentric Anthony, who has been going through extreme body changes for about a decade, even dared to get his eyeballs tattooed despite the risk of going blind.

He had also previously had both his ears surgically removed to look weirder. And risked surgery to cleave the tongue, cutting the muscular organ in half with a scalpel.

Last year, Anthony traveled to Spain to have his nose surgically removed, as the operation is illegal in his home country.

Hoping to look less human, he also had skin implants placed in his face, which gave his skin a more uneven texture, as well as reptilian bumps on his forehead and chiseled lines across his cheekbones.

The alien wannabe documents his transformation on Instagram, calling it the “Black Alien Project.

His 718,000 followers continue to be amazed at the great effort he is willing to put in.

Anthony has now removed two fingers from his left hand to form a freaky “alien” claw. He posted a clip to his post-surgery page, which features a bloody stitched scar on his hand next to the caption “I’m developing my inner peace.”.

His controversial body-modification antics repeatedly divide his followers – many praising his boldness while others question his motive.

“Outrageous disrespect for those who have unhappily lost limbs and seek ways to function as the human body should,” one person wrote.

Another said: “You will regret this 100% in the end.”.  A third wrote: “This is disturbing AND fascinating at the same time.

Don’t think I could do this, but fingers crossed for living your dream. While a fourth commented: “Congratulations on the progress of the project. It’s unbelievably amazing.”

Anthony’s transformation has been nearly a decade in the making so far. But he believes he’s made just over a third of the way to his final goal.

In 2017, he told the French newspaper Midi Libre: “From an early age I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body”I clicked when I was a security guard. “I realized I wasn’t living my life the way I wanted to.

I stopped everything when I was 24 and left for Australia.  “It has become normal, even subconsciously, to constantly think about my plans for the coming months.”
